Lisa Anne Mims Lane, age 56, of Leighton, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at North Alabama Medical.
Lisa was a very strong and independent woman and taught all of us, her family to be strong. She was known as Momma CC to everyone and was fiercely protective of her family and kept us all in line. She enjoyed participating in the school programs, as well as coaching the kids in softball and cheering at Tharptown School. Her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces & nephews were her life. She loved working in her flowers and garden, but more than anything she loved going to her happy place, the beach. Our lives are forever changed, and we will cherish all the memories we have.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Entrekin; parents John William & Betty Faye (Parrish) Mims; and aunt, Dianne Mims.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Danny Lane; her favorite “child”, Tinkerbell; children, Willie Lane (LaSha), Bethany Nulph (Bo), Gracie Entrekin, Brooke Entrekin, Raelynn Entrekin; grandchildren, Collyn Williams, Robbie Lane, Kaylie Williams, Tucker Smith, Ensley Cagle, Asher Lane, Anna Nulph, Hunter Nulph, Jayce Nulph; siblings, Teressa Bearden, Johnnie Faye Brazell (Joll), Shelia Borden, Raymond McKinney (Brenda), Heather Mims (Mark), and a host of nieces & nephews who she loved like her own.
The visitation will be 10:00 a.m. -12:00 noon, Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The memorial service will follow at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel. Bro. Will Hill will speak at the service.
