Linnie Louise Hagood age 91 of Athens, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Athens Rehab and Senior Care. Mrs. Hagood was born August 21, 1923 in Limestone County, Alabama to William Marvin Pepper and Clara Viola McMunn Pepper.
Services will be Saturday, October 25, 2014 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Jimmy Clark officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 prior to the service. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Hagood was a member of Bethel Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her parents, William and Clara Pepper; three husbands, Onus Poff, Arthur Pruitte and Oliver Hagood, brother G. W. Pepper and sister Viola Ransom.
Survived by two brothers, Bennie Pepper and wife, Virginia and Jerry “Buddy” Pepper and wife, Cornelia both of Athens; four sisters, Maggie Hodges of Brownsboro, AL, Janie Ayers of Decatur, Judy Bray and husband, Kenneth of Quebeck, TN and Cary Kraus and husband, Bud of LaPorte, IN; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
