Linna Cecelia Baker, age 73, of Cherokee, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at her daughter’s residence.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by husband, J.C. Baker; parents, Heber & Marie (Anderson) Boykin; sister, Luvenia Boykin; and brother-in-law, Norman Wilkerson.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Bobbi Swinney, Kathy Nickens (husband, Stephen); step-children, Walter Rufus Baker, Melanie Baker Barringer; grandchildren, Christian Waid (husband, Matt), Stephanie Nickens; great-grandchildren, Saylor Kate Waid and Jeffery Beckett Waid; brother, Herbert Boykin (wife, Patsy); sister, Patricia Wilkerson; and a host of nieces & nephews.
