Lindy Sue Dodson, age 48 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on February 8, 1973 to the late C.L. Evans and Florence Stapleton Brinkley. Lindy enjoyed cooking, watching television, and dancing in her spare time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Brinkley; and father-in-law, Thomas Dodson. Lindy is survived by her husband, James Dodson of Decherd; son, Sheldon Dodson of Winchester; siblings, Phyllis (Tim) Dent of Tracy City, Ronnie (Wanda) Brinkley of Manchester, Darlene Khan of Tullahoma, and Betty (Ronnie) Campbell of Monteagle; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Mt. Garner Cemetery.
