Linda Wood Haynes, 85, of Ripley passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at her residence. Visitation will begin at 2 PM Sunday at Asbury Methodist Church, where she was a member, with funeral services to follow at 3 PM. Interment will be in Ripley Memorial Gardens. Garner Funeral Home of Ripley has charge of the services.
Mrs. Haynes was a retired loan officer for Baptist Hospital Credit Union.
The widow of Jerry Haynes, she is survived by 3 daughters Shelia Murphy (Steve) of Bartlett, Sharon Folkes of Cordova, and Shelley Foreman (J.R.) of Greers Ferry, AR; a sister Patsy Langley of Ripley; a brother Billy Wood of Adamsville; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
