Funeral service for Linda Thomas Bodley, 74, of Hartselle will be Tuesday Feb. 16, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Harvel officiating. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pitman Cemetery.
Mrs. Bodley died on Saturday Feb. 13, 2016 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born April 14, 1941 in Winston County to Veto Thomas and Vetress Tidwell Thomas. Mrs. Bodley attended Liberty Baptist Church. She loved birds and crocheting. Mrs. Bodley was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby R. Bodley; one son, Barry Ray Bodley, of Priceville; two daughters, Starlon Steele (Shorty), of Hartselle and Connie Speegle (Brad), of Hartselle; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Clayton Bodley, Weston Bodley, Corey Steele, Duston Steele, Kevin Crawley, Brandon Starnes, Cameron Ward and Jamie Steele.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Crawley and Luke Graves.
