Linda Susan Lane, 71, of Arley entered into rest on Sunday, December 15, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Lane was born August 12, 1948 in Double Springs, Alabama. Linda was very artistic and enjoyed painting, making paper mache figures; including an airplane, crocheting, cross stitching, making costumes, murals, cardboard stage scenes and backgrounds and directing Vacation Bible School. She was very active in Meek Baptist Church and will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 1-2pm at Meek Baptist Church with service to follow at 2pm. Brother Etsel Riddle will officiate. Burial will follow in Meek Baptist Cemetery.
Linda is survived by her husband, Dana Lane; mother, Louise Baxley; sons, Robbie (Misti) Lane and David (Donna) Lane; sisters, Vickie (Gale) Johnson and Debbie (O’Neal) Talley; grandchildren, Justin Lane, Hunter Lane, Eric Coker and Ashley (Adam) Stacks; great grandchildren, Layken Stacks and Ethan Coker; mother-in-law, Rowena Lane; brother-in-law, Kerry (Carol) Lane; life-long best friend, Glenda Mayo and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Brown; brother, Frank Brown; stepfather, Cecil Baxley and father-in-law, Pete Lane.
