Linda S. Williams Hunt Linda Sue Williams Hunt was born in Savannah, Tennessee on October 29, 1962, the daughter of the late Atwelldean and Marie Scott Williams. On July 14, 1979, she was united in marriage to James “Possum” Hunt, who survives.

Linda attended White’s Creek Church. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and working puzzles. She loved listening to music and singing. Linda especially loved her family and spending time with them. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

Linda is survived by her husband of 41 years, James “Possum” Hunt of Crump, Tennessee; two daughters, Kristy Hunt and her partner Jon Franks, and Amanda Stone and her husband Jerry; two grandchildren, Casey Smith and Kayla Benson, all of Savannah, Tennessee; one brother, Earnest Williams and his wife Anna Lou of Savannah, Tennessee; her sisters, Effie Carroll and her husband Tom of Summertown, Tennessee, Beverly Hunt of Adamsville, Tennessee, Connie Word, and Cindy Benson, both of Savannah, Tennessee; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon and Ricky Williams; two nephews, Tim and Earnest Lynn Williams; and a niece, Amy Benson.
