While her family grieves her loss, they rejoice in the promise of eternal life and find comfort in knowing she is home with Jesus.

Linda was born on June 22, 1943, in Morgan County, Alabama. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and faithful homemaker whose greatest joy was caring for her family. She was married to the love of her life, Lawrence Edward Lang Sr., and together they built a life centered on love, hard work, and family.

In addition to being a homemaker, Linda worked for many years at SCI-Sanmina, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.

Linda enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved hosting family gatherings, quilting, sewing, completing word searches, and spending time tending to her flowers and garden. She found joy in creating beautiful things with her hands and in caring for those she loved. Her kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered always.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Lawrence Edward Lang Sr.; her children, Sophia Lynn Lawrence, Lawrence Edward Lang Jr. (Eddie), Marcus Wayne Lang, and Kimberly Ann Handley; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice staff and caregivers who compassionately cared for Linda, as well as to the many family members and friends who offered prayers, love, and support throughout her illness.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in the words of Jesus: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” — John 11:25
