Ms. Linda Sue Dupree, age 79, of Lacey’s Spring, Alabama, passed away at her residence on Monday, January 9, 2023. Ms. Dupree was born January 14, 1943 to John R. Morgan and Pearl Davis Morgan in Morgan County, Alabama. She attended and graduated from Cotaco High School. She furthered her education and became an engineer for SCI/Sanmina from which she retired. Linda was a member of the Little Gethsemane House of Prayer. Linda loved her family, friends and pets.
Ms. Dupree leaves behind her loving family: son; Stephen P. Dupree, brother; Jethro Morgan, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ms. Dupree is preceded in death by family members: husband; Harry Dupree, son, Michael Dupree; brothers; Rolan Morgan, James Morgan, and sisters; Marie Wilburn, Dunreath Lorance, and Florence Evans.
A visitation with the family is planned for Friday, January 13, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Brindlee Mountain Chapel, Morgan City. The funeral service will begin immediately after the visitation at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church #2 Cemetery, in Morgan City.
