Linda R. Wilson, 81 of Athens, passed Wednesday, March 1st, 2023, at Limestone Nursing & Rehab. Mrs. Wilson was born on December 30th, 1941, in Athens, to Virgil Rogers and Jessie Rowe Vinson Rogers.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her son Richard “Shane” Guilbeault; daughters Beverly Davis, Carolyn Butler, and Tina Ford (Chris); grandchildren Kyle Guilbeault, Kevin Guilbeault, Rachel Guilbeault, Stephanie Butler, Linda Higgins, Mark Leonardi, Celeste Brown, Caleb Davis, and Nicole Cloer; 21 great-grandchildren; brother William “Bo” Rogers; sister Carolyn Stair; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Donovan Wilson; father Virgil Rogers; mother Jessie Rowe Rogers; daughter-in-law Patricia Guilbeault; and grandson Steven Guilbeault
Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be Friday, March 3rd, 2023, at 11:00am at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Joel Carwile officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00-10:50am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Athens City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Butler, Austin Caver, Cohen Nix, Matthew Edwards, Will Edwards, and Daniel Huskey.
