Linda May Mitchell was born Sept. 8, 1949, to Richard Eldridge and Marjorie Webb May in Limestone County Alabama. She passed from this life April 28, 2016. Preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Doris Patterson Mitchell. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of New Hope Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Paul Mitchell, one son, Brandon Mitchell and wife Serene, of Downey, California; three grandchildren, Madison Mitchell, Kyle Bisson and Mikayla Bisson, also of Downey; one sister, Teresa Craig and husband Larry, of Atoka, Tennessee; one brother, Jeffrey May and wife RueAnna, of Ardmore; two brother and sister-in-Laws, Dwight and Shirley Mitchell and Steve and Rita Mitchell, of Limestone County; five nephews; and seven nieces.
Visitation was 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Spry Funeral Home, Athens. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at the funeral home with Daniel Tucker officiating. Interment is in Myers Cemetery following services.
Pallbearers will be Oscar Stripling, Ron Hulse, Kyle Bisson, Adam Craig, Timothy Mitchell and Michael Mitchell.
