Linda Marie Moore, 46, of Muscle Shoals passed peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2019, while surrounded by her family after years of fighting a cruel battle with cancer. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 30, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Mark Williams and Joel Moore, Jr. officiating. The burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Linda was a retired purchasing agent for Whatever It Takes Transmission. She was kind and loving to everyone. To know her was to love her. She always went out of her way to help others, even when she hardly knew them. To her friends and family, she was a princess and an angel. She was an incredibly loving mother to her children, Chase, Zach, Joey, and Mallory, and Lala to her grandbabies. She was always smiling and making others laugh. She was a true hero and will be greatly missed by her loving family and beloved dog, Thor. Although her family will greatly miss her, they find peace in knowing that she is no longer in pain and is reunited with her baby boy, Zach Tyler Childers.
She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Joel Moore; children, Chase Childers (Baylee), Mallory Moore Layton (Swayze), and Joel Moore, Jr. (Morgan); parents, Dennis and Edith Jezek; brother, Dennis Jezek, Jr. (Pam); sisters, Susie Cochran and Cindy Jezek; grandchildren, Josiah Moore, Owen Moore, Harper Layton, Noah Moore, and 2 more on the way; brothers-in-law, Frank Moore (Ashley) and Ben Moore (Kim); sister-in-law, Suzanne Brown (Patrick); nieces and nephews, Crystal Kresch (Mark), Hannah Kemp Fry (Shaye), Emily Kemp, Kaleb Moore, Elliott Moore, Sawyer Moore, Evie Moore, and Emma Harless.
Pallbearers include Chase Childers, Tanner Stanfield, Kaylon Miller, Mark Kresch, Swayze Layton, and Frank Moore.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
