Linda Lou Ivey, 78, died Monday, September 6, 2021 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. She was born in Belmont, MS and was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.

Services will be Thursday, September 9, 10 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Donnie Wooten officiating. Burial will be in East Prentiss Cemetery, New Site, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by one son – Garry Ivey (Paula); four grandchildren – Laken Ivey (Zach), Jayde Ivey, Hannah Sartin (Nathan) and Olivia Ivey; five great-grandchildren – J.D. Higginbottom, Terry Lee Massengill, Hunter Higginbottom, Pypir Ivey and Winnie Sartin; one sister – Diane Wigginton; one brother – Donnie Wigginton (Judy); one niece– Sandy Bruce (Brad) and one nephew – Casey Wigginton (Emily).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Ivey; a son, Thomas Dewayne “Shotgun” Ivey; a granddaughter, Audrey Ivey and her parents, Earnest and Ollie Mae Stanphill Wigginton.

Pallbearers will be Garry Ivey, Jeremiah Anderson and Axel Cortez.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 8, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS
