Linda Knight Profile Photo Linda Knight, a woman of extraordinary grace and unwavering faith, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026, in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Born on September 23, 1929, in Traun, Austria, Linda’s life was a testament to love, devotion, and an enduring commitment to her spiritual beliefs.

From her early years in Mississippi, Linda found profound joy in serving others. She was a cherished member of the women’s Auxiliary, dedicating herself tirelessly to uplifting those in need. Her generosity and compassion were boundless, and she carried these gifts throughout her life with a sweetness that touched everyone she encountered. Central to her existence was her deep love for God, which inspired her daily actions and offered solace through every chapter of her remarkable journey.

Linda’s heart found special comfort in listening to her Bible. Her faith and gentle spirit were the cornerstone of her identity, radiating warmth and kindness to all who knew her. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, and was well known for her sugar cookies. Jellies, orange slice cakes.

She is survived by a wonderful circle of family who carry forward her legacy. This includes her grandchildren Denisha Floyd and Rodney Knight (Rebecca), as well as ten great-grandchildren, Megan Potts (Matthew), Heather Elaine Pope, Stephen Cocke (Marleigh), Amber Edge, Hailey Knight, Landon Knight, Dalton Knight, Eli Knight, Austin Parker, and Hunter Irby; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews whose lives she enriched, and closest friends, Faye Ray, Michelle Sagely, and Julia Welch.

Linda was preceded in death by her loving parents, Edmund and Maria Reischi; her husband, Rev. Herbert H. Knight; her sisters Helga Habichler (Alfred) and Margarethe Reitbergar; her son, William “Bill” Knight; her great grandson, Michael W. Knight, and her brother, Ernest Reischi (Emma).

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM at New Life Church of Amory with Bro. Eric Keeton officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, April 17, 2026 at 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at EE Pickle Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Rodney Knight, Stephen Cocke, Matt Potts, Austin Parker, Landen Knight, and Dalton Knight.

In remembering Linda Knight, we honor a life marked by kindness, faith, and an unyielding dedication to those she held dear. Her legacy is one of love, service, and devotion—an inspiration to all who were blessed to know her.
