Linda Kaye Townsley Summers, 79, of Florence, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025, at her residence. She was a retired seamstress at H D Lee and a lifelong member of Underwood Heights Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery. Officiating will be Frank Richey.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Clara Townsley; her husband, Jerry Summers; and brothers, Donald and Rod Townsley.
She is survived by her son, Joel Summers (Liting); daughter, Emily Sharp; sister, Brenda Olive (Donald); sisters-in-law, Myra Townsley and Beth Wilson; grandchildren, Mollie Eddy, Maggie Richardson (Joe), Donnie Summers, Jason Putman, Ella Putman; and great granddaughter, Charlotte Richardson.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Summers, Joseph Richardson, Jason Putman, Clay Frazier, Bryan Jasper, and Austin Suddith.
