Funeral for Linda Johnson Davis, 68, of Danville, will be Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00pm with Dr. Bryan Burge and Rev. Ronald Davis officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 1:00pm- 2:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Owens Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis died on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Lawrence Medical Center in Moulton. She was born February 5, 1954 in Decatur, Alabama to Lawrence and Luevenine Woodall Johnson. She was a homemaker, and a member of Owens Chapel Baptist Church, A very devout Christian who was compassionate and giving to people, and loved baking. A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Keith Davis, sisters, Frances Jones, and Dorothy Hall.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Larry Davis, daughter, Tanya Alexander (Brian), grandson, Kyle Alexander (Brooklyn), great-granddaughter, Caroline Alexander, granddaughter, Karly Harper (Drew), brothers, Wayne Johnson, Ralph Johnson (Eula), Johnny Johnson (Shelby), sisters, Betty Morgan(Floyd), Bonnie Hamilton, Gertie Nicholson.
