Linda Jo Morrison Jones, 79, longtime resident of Hampshire, and retired teller for Middle Tennessee Bank, died Monday, April 7, 2025 at her residence.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Worley Cemetery in Hampshire, Tennessee with Mickey Mathis officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.

Linda was born on September 8, 1945 in Maury County, TN to the late Joe Morrison and the late Rebecca Brown Morrison. She loved gardening, flowers and visiting with her friends and was a member of Cathey’s Creek Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Kenda Ann and Stacy Polk of Santa Fe; nephews, Wayne (Stacy) Jones and Michael (Dana) Jones; nieces, Farris (Brad) Wheatley and Renee (Scott) McEndarfer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David R. Jones on September 3, 2013 and her sister Mavis Brown Jones on August 19, 2009.
