Linda Jean Howard, age 62, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Sunday,
February 5, 2023.
Linda attended Grace Baptist Church. She was a fun loving and happy person with a hippie soul that loved to be on the go. If you’d mention going somewhere, she was ready to ride. We’d always joke about a rolling stone gathers no moss. She had a mischievous side, not knowing what her next move would be.
Linda is survived by her children, Dewayne Cox, Jennifer Cross (James); sisters, Anita Lopez (Manolo), Emma Barlow; grandchildren, Alex Jose, Cody Camas (Nellie), Brian Cross, Samantha Cox, Billie Cox, James Cross, Merissa Cross; great-grandchildren, Alayah Camas, Oaklee Camas; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends that will miss her energetic personality and glowing smile.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Rice and her parents Hollis and Linda Howard.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 1pm-2pm at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville. Funeral service will follow at 2pm. Interment will be at Guy Cemetery in Tuscumbia. Bro. Jim Lumpkin will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Santos Lopez (Jessica Smith), Josh Lopez, Brian Cross, James Cross, Mango Lopez and Alex Jose. Honorary pallbearer will be Aaron Jackson.
Simply put, Linda was one of a kind.
