Linda Gooch West, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the age of 63. Her visitation will be Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Friday, June 9, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Seth Hood and Phil Waldrep officiating. She will be buried in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Linda was a native of Colbert County and a member of the First Baptist Church of Colbert Heights where she loved her church family and Sunday school class. She was a loving mother and nana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Jennie Gooch; sister, Jane Gray; and brother, Buddy Gooch.
Her survivors include her loving husband, Walter West; son, Jason West and wife Jennifer; daughters, Lori Daniels and husband Derek and Erin Davis and husband Kevin; sister, Ann Skidmore; and four grandchildren, Kelsie, Carson, Sydnee, and Audree.
Pallbearers will be Randy Hill, Steve Williams, Brian Gooch, Joe Latham, Steve Skidmore, and David DeLano.

I have been so sad at the passing of Linda. She was a wonderful woman who was such a good friend to me when the kids were young. I know she will be missed greatly by her family.
