Mrs. Linda Gail Sparkman, age 77, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford. She was born on June 26, 1948 and was a faithful member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ. She was a homemaker at heart with a love for gardening and planting. Her only grandson was the love of her life from the moment he was born. She was a passionate Sunday school teacher for over 40 years, touching numerous lives.
Survivors include her daughter Edrie (Travis) Wann, grandson Trad Edward Sparkman Wann, special granddaughter Keisha Beard, sister Freda Curtis, brothers Phillip (Carol) Killian, Kent (Connie) Killian, and Mark Killian, sister-in-law Ann (Bobby) Romans, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Freeman Elton Killian and Kathleen June Wiseman Killian, husband Joe Edward Sparkman, son Brad Edward Sparkman, brothers-in-law Joe Curtis and John (Rhonda) Sparkman and nephew Jace Sparkman.
Graveside service and interment for Mrs. Linda is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Mt. View Cemetery. Klint Curtis and Kalen Killian will officiate. The Sparkman family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. in the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
