Linda Gail Murphree Kelsoe, 74 of Blountsville passed away Friday May 18, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Kelsoe was born January 16, 1944 in Blount County to Finnis St. John Murphree and Audrey Parrish Murphree. She worked for Dowdle Gas Company as a manager until her retirement. She and Ferris LaWayne Kelsoe were married for 59 years. She enjoyed cooking and browsing yard sales. She loved spending time with her family.
She was a member of Roswell Creek Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kelsoe is survived by her husband: Ferris L. Kelsoe; her sons and daughter-in-law: Steven L. Kelsoe, Chris E. Kelsoe and Mandy; her grandchildren: Karen Henry and Patrick, Charles Kelsoe and one great grandchild: Emma Katherine Henry; her brother and sister-in-law: Billy Ross Murphree and Patricia and her sister: Patsy Sheppherd. She was preceded in death by her parents: Finnis St. John Murphree and Audrey; her brothers: Buddy Murphree and Boyd Murphree and her sister: Addie Jean Smith.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 22, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Russell Pinyan officiating.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 22, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
