Linda G. Lykins left this world to be among the angels on May 5, 2018 in the care of her loving son.
She worked for over 40 years for Huntsville City Schools and served as Director of Special Education and Director of the Even Start program.
She was an active member of First Christian Church, and served on several committees. She was vital to the Early Childhood Ministry.
She is survived by her son, Raymond M. Lykins, daughter in law Parastoo F. Lykins, her brother Paul, her niece Carmen and her niece’s family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Lykins, her mother Nell M. Jones, her father, Paul B. Jones, and her brother, Jimmy Jones.
A celebration of life service will be held at First Christian Church, 3209 Whitesburg Drive, Huntsville, AL, 35802 on Saturday, June 2nd at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Christian Church general fund.
