Linda Foshee Miller, aged 80, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on August 6th, 2026. She leaves behind her loving husband of 60 years, Jerry Miller; two daughters, Traci (Tim) Phillips and Erin Duffey; the son of her heart, Jack Shiflett; and precious grandchildren Chandler (Audra) Engle, Sadie Williams, and Max Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chad and Clara Foshee, brothers Billy Foshee and Hugh Foshee, beloved sister Janice Smart, and nephew Jeremy Foshee. She is survived by her brother Bobby (Patsy) Foshee, sister-in-law Janet Foshee, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
In her life, Linda was a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, a dedicated teacher, and a caring mental health professional. Until her illness, Linda was an active member of Center Point Baptist Church and her faith was a fundamental part of her life. Linda was a beautiful example of love and kindness, and believed all people were worthy of the same.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks for donations to The Parkinson’s Foundation.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, August 8, at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel and services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 9, at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Moorman officiating. Burial will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
