Linda Faye Quillen, 77, of Florence Alabama, passed away, after a sudden illness, on March 29th, 2022. She was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ for several years.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.  She was a full-time homemaker, and a full-time babysitter for over forty children throughout her life. She was a personal caretaker to several family members and friends during her lifetime. Her sweet disposition, kindness and loving heart touched many souls during her time on this earth.

 

Mrs. Quillen was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Neva Holt; husband, Harold Quillen; daughter, Kimberly Staggs; and brother, Harold Holt.

 

She is survived by one son, Tony Quillen; five grandchildren, Michael Staggs (Chassity), Chris Staggs (Hannah), Jaidyn Quillen, Avery Quillen, and Sylas Quillen; 6 great-grandchildren, Eli Staggs, Eli Bracey, Mason Staggs, MaeLee Staggs, Olivia Staggs and Hadley Staggs; one sister, Mary Sue Holt.

 

Pallbearers will be Tony Quillen, Michael Staggs, Chris Staggs, Frankie Holt, Brett Blevins and Roy Staggs.

 

Visitation will be at Monday, April 4, 2022 from 11:30-2:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Cypress Inn, TN.

 

The family extends its sincere appreciation and love, to an angel sent to us. Angela Staggs was the primary caretaker for the last two years of her life. The passion and details she took to take care of our loved one, it’s so inspiring and will always be cherished.
