Mr. Jerry Gamble, age 81, of Scottsboro, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
Jerry was a devoted husband to his wife Gail for almost 50 years. He worked and restored cars for over 60 years. He enjoyed his time with his church, loved to talk about the Lord and the Bible. He loved to fish and eating at Zaxby’s.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby House and Bro. Blake Gifford officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Jerry is survived by his son; Richard (Tracey) Gamble, daughter; Angie (Donald) Lewis, grandchildren; Andrew (Zeta) Gamble, Kirsten (Dexter) Gifford, Alex (McKenzie) Gamble, Ashlyn (Blake) Chance, and Bailey McAllister; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Stillwell, JoAnn (Bob) McKinnon, Peggy Garner; brother; Randy (Cathy) Gamble; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend of 31 years, Gerald McAllister.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Gamble; parents, Major and Nancy Gamble; sisters, Lucy Clemons, Earlene Tebo, and Ruth Hill; brothers, Harlan, Roy, Wendell, and Glen Gamble.
