Linda Estes Davidson, 51, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday March 26, 2014. The Family Visitation will be, Monday, 6-8 p.m. m. at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral will be Tuesday, April 1, at noon at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, Leighton, with the Rev. Green Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery. Public viewing will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday March 31.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed cooking, but most of all she loved being a wife and mother to her family. She graduated from Deshler High School in 1982.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry Lee Hamilton and Ricky Estes. She is survived by a loving husband, Gregory Davidson Sr.; son, Gregory Davidson Jr. (Tosha); daughter, Ashley Davidson (Chay); grandchild, Keith Amir Davidson; mother, Mildred Estes Hegler; brothers, Charles Estes and Devon Hegler (Verna); sisters, Annie Hegler Bankhead (Kevin Coborn) and Betty Estes Jones (Ben); twin sisters, Glenda Estes (Jerry Robinson), and Marilyn Estes Underwood (Greg); a host of other family and friends.
Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, is directing.
