Linda Diane Freeman, age 64 of Cullman, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Cullman Regional. She was born November 21, 1960, to Vernon Carol Mezzell and Lola Fay White Mezzell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandchild, Baileigh Kay Freeman.
Mama had been sick for a long time, yet through it all she never let anyone dim her spirit. She faced every hardship with courage, grace, and her one of a kind humor that lifted the hearts of those around her, always protecting what she loved. Her love for her family was endless, deeper than words could ever capture, and she showed us day after day what truly matters in this life, kindness, faith, laughter, and love.
She leaves behind a line of strength and warmth that will live on in the lives she touched. To know her was to know compassion, joy, and a rare beauty of a soul. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all who were blessed enough to share in her light.
Rest peacefully, our pretty Mama. We love you bunches, more than words can say, and we will carry you with us, always and forever
Survivors include her husband, Tim Freeman; daughter, Brittany Cornelius (Aaron Buettner); sons, Joshua (Brittney) Freeman and Tim Freeman, Jr.; grandchildren, Layla Cornelius, Lexi Cornelius, Tatum Freeman and Maddie Freeman; sister, Jan (Terrell) McNeal and Charlotte Young (Phil Smith); brothers, Charles (Danine) Mezzell and James (Wynell) Mezzell; niece and nephew, Haven McNeal and Jayna Hall and Host of nieces, nephew, family and friends.
