Linda Condra Griffin – Obituary

Linda Condra Griffin of Huntsville passed away Monday, September 19. She was a stewardess for Eastern Airlines prior to marrying Malvern U. Griffin II and moving to Huntsville in 1963. Linda taught preschool at First United Methodist Church for many years. She enjoyed volunteering at the Huntsville Public Library, the Greater Huntsville Humane Society, and First Presbyterian Church, where she was a member for more than 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malvern Griffin, and son, Chris Griffin. Survivors include children, Tracy Barton (Todd) and Griff Griffin (Jodi); grandchildren, Winston Barton, Wesley Barton, Will Griffin, Anna Griffin and Luke Griffin; and her brother, Col. Ed Condra (Judy).
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24 at the Gideon Blackburn House at First Presbyterian Church, followed by a visitation luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greater Huntsville Humane Society.
