Mrs. Linda Cantrell Hillis, age 84, of the Centertown Community died Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at N.H.C. HealthCare. She was born on October 10, 1939 in Smithville, TN. Linda was all about her love for her family, enjoyed being a grandmother, and was of the Church of Christ faith. She was preceded in death by her parents Zollie Adron Cantrell and Shirley Clay Martin Cantrell, husband Baxter Hillis, and was the last survivor of eleven children.
Survivors include her children Michael (Lesa) Hillis, Gina Melvin, and Martin (Amanda) Hillis, grandchildren Monica (Greg) Barton, Marisa (Tyler) Judkins, Eden Melvin, Dalton Hillis, and Drake Hillis, great-grandson Carter Barton, Tate Judkins, Matthew Barton, Weston Barton, and John Michael Barton, and several nieces and nephews and their families.
Graveside funeral service and interment for Linda will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 11, 2024 at Centertown Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home as friends will meet the family at the cemetery.
