Linda B. Bennett, age 78 of Athens, Alabama (formerly of Haleyville, AL) passed away July 15, 2026 at Huntsville Hospital.

Graveside service will be Friday, July 17, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at Littleville Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama with Dr. Ron Horton officiating.

Ms. Bennett is survived by her son, Jonathan (Belinda) Bennett; brothers, Robert Betowt and Edward Royce Betowt; grandchildren, Blake (Aislinn) Bennett and Brett Bennett; and great grandchildren, Palmer Bennett and Johnny Colt Bennett.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Hazel Betowt; and brother, Wayne Betowt.
