Obituary of Linda Ann (Eaves) ThomasLinda Ann Eaves Thomas, age 84, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025 at The Greenhouses at Traceway Manor in Tupelo. She was born August 5, 1940 in Chattanooga, TN to Dennis J.R. and Regina H. Eaves. Linda was a graduate of Tyner High School in Chattanooga. She was a hearing assistant with the Social Security Bureau of Hearing and Appeals. Linda was a member of West Heights Baptist Church, The Daughter’s of the American Revolution and the Homemaker’s Club. She was very involved in foreign missions, and enjoyed catering, decorating and reading.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Browning Funeral Home with Rev. David Hamilton officiating; burial will follow in the West Heights Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home is honored to assist the Thomas family with the arrangements.

Survivors include her son, David Keith Thomas (Beverly); a sister, Denese Eaves Crowder, of Chattanooga, TN; two grandchildren, Jonathan Christopher Thomas (Candace) and Katherine Olivia Rhea (Blake); and a great-grandson, Roy Henry Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Keith P. Thomas; a sister, Karen Eaves Ware and a brother, David Larry Eaves.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM, Saturday and from 1 to 2 PM Sunday, all at Browning Funeral Home.

Memorials may be sent to Foreign Missions at West Heights Baptist Church, 328 W. Oxford Street, Pontotoc, MS 38863.
