Mrs. Linda Adell Templeton age 71 of McMinnville, TN, died Friday, January 15, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 14, 1949, in McMinnville, TN, was retired from the Warren County School System, and was a member of Arlington Church of Christ. Mrs. Templeton was preceded in death by her parents Charlie William and Leoma Curtis Clendenon, sister Jewel Kesey, and brother Raymond Clendenon.
Linda is survived by her husband Allen Templeton, son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Regina Templeton, daughter and son-in-law Kristie and DeWayne McCormick, sisters Vivian Cutler, Charlene (David) Rhea, and Betsy Willis, and grandchildren Jessi Templeton, Josh Templeton (Lydia), Tyler McCormick (Diana), and Peyton McCormick. Several nieces, nephews and family friends also survive.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 18, 2021 in the chapel of McMinnville Funeral Home. Charlie Pearson and Jon Simmons will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. The Templeton family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Monday. Social distancing and the wearing of face masks are encouraged. No food gifts at the funeral home please.
