Mickey Glass
LIMESTONE COUNTY– The Principal of the Limestone County Career Technical Center has been arrested on charges of Theft of Property. Mickey Charles Glass, 40 turned himself in on Monday. After turning himself in he was formally charged with Theft in the First Degree.
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI were investigating Glass after allegations of theft after a request by the Limestone County Board of Education. Findings of the investigations will be presented to a grand jury.
Glass has been on paid administrative leave from his position as principal of Limestone County Career Technical Center pending the outcome of the investigation.
Glass has served as the director of the Limestone County Career Technical Center for the last 3 years and has been an employee of the school system since 1998.
He’s was booked into the Limestone County Jail on $5,000 bond.
