LIMESTONE COUNTY – A marketing video promoting Limestone County has won state and regional public relations awards.
Pick Your Pace – Limestone County, Alabama – highlights several of the county’s diverse assets for residents and visitors to explore. The Limestone County Economic Development Association (LCEDA) commissioned the video to be made to help in recruitment of industrial, residential, and commercial development.
The 3-and-a-half-minute video was produced by John David Crowe with Innovative Media Pros. The project was managed by Blake Williams Communications with Shane Jackson writing the script.
“The video, which has been viewed thousands of times, helps promote Limestone County to the world,” Shockney said. “It was a pleasure to work with the team to help put this video together.”
The video was awarded a Certificate of Merit through the Public Relations Council of Alabama’s (PRCA) Medallion Awards competition and an Award of Excellence through the Southern Public Relations Federation (SPRF) Lantern’s Awards.
“The wealth and quality of experience our membership display in the Lanterns competition are impressive,” said SPRF President Lisa Darnell, APR (PRCA North Alabama). “Each entrant’s ability to understand and utilize the strategic process provides outstanding returns to their organizations and clients while advancing the best public relations practices.”
One judge commented this about the video, “The entrant did a great job of understanding the client’s needs and worked to create an output that addresses those needs in a creative and fun way.”
