ATHENS-The Limestone County Exceptional Rodeo was held Friday, May 20, in Athens for the area’s special needs children and adults.
The Sheriff’s Department hosts the event as part of Rodeo Week. Athens Fire and Rescue volunteered to help the children and adults horseback ride while the Athens Gas Department grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch.
“You can’t leave this event without a smile on your face,” Mayor Ronnie Marks said.
