Lillion “Adell” Nelson Page

Lillion “Adell” Nelson Page, age 86, a resident of Columbia, passed away January 13, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 18th at 11am at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points and Pastor Matt Travers officiating.  Entombment will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.  The family will visit with friends on Monday from 10am until the service hour at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

Adell was born in Giles County on September 8, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Johnnie A. Nelson and the late Addie Bell Toungette Nelson.  She graduated from Campbellsville High School and worked as a technician in the Walmart pharmacy.  She was a devoted member of Northside Baptist Church and was very active in the “Lead On” Sunday school class.  She had a beautiful yard and enjoyed working on it.  She also enjoyed gardening. Adell had a caring heart serving as a volunteer at Maury Regional Hospital in the same day surgery center assisting patients and also in the medical building transporting them.  She also was active at the Senior Center exercise and doing line dancing.  She was a devoted mother with a special love for her children.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

 

She is survived by her daughter: Deborah J. Page of Columbia; son: Dale (Debra) Page of Michigan; brother: James Franklin Nelson of Columbia; and grandchildren: Jorden Page and Nicholas Page.

 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Odell Page; sister: Gracie Mae Green; and brother: Ernest Nelson.

 

Pallbearers will be friends of the family and members of the Northside Baptist Church.

 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Brookdale Assisted Living and Dr. Christopher Scott English for their care and compassion for Adell during this time.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Northside Baptist Church: 127 Theta Pike, Columbia, TN 38401.
