Lillie Mae Thomas Weaver – Obituary

Lillie Mae Thomas Weaver age 88 passed away October 25, 2012 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born and reared in the Montezuma community of Chester County, the daughter of the late Raymond Leo and Altha Nina Morrison Thomas. She attended Chester County schools and in 1941 married Herman Weaver. They lived at Jacks Creek and she worked at Garran Mfg. in Adamsville and Salant & Salant in Henderson, they both worked and retired from Western State Mental Health. She worked as a nurse’s aide and was in charge of a patient ward prior to her retirement in 1987. They continued to make their home at Jacks Creek. Mr. Weaver passed away in 2003. Mrs. Weaver moved to the Chester County Healthcare in April 2008. She was a member of the Henderson Church of Christ.

She is survived by four daughters; Barbara Taylor and husband Jerry of Corinth, MS, Elizabeth Davis and husband Lonnie of Richmond, VA, Tana Honeycutt of Collierville, TN and Lori Hanson and husband Joe of Crown Point, IN; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; a sister, Nina Ann Maroney of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Mary Louise Skinner and four brothers, Jess Thomas, John Thomas, James Thomas and Joe Thomas. .
