Lillian Weesner, age 90, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025. She was born on April 4, 1935, in Nashville, Tennessee, to her loving parents, George and Abbie Cowan.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose strong, vibrant spirit lit up every room she entered. Full of energy, warmth, and joy, she had a remarkable ability to make every gathering lively and memorable. Her family was the center of her world, and she filled their lives with laughter, love, and countless cherished memories. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Weesner, and their son, Kurt Weesner.
She is survived by her children, Mike Weesner, Victoria Hall and husband, Robert, and Rhonda Weesner. She was a proud grandmother to Lindsey Hicks, Michael Weesner, Daniel Weesner, Steffan Hall, Tessa Hall, Avery Hall, and Lydia Weesner, and her great-grandchildren also brought her immense joy.
She will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her generosity of spirit, and the deep love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the joy, laughter, and memories she leaves behind.
A celebration of her life will be held at Laughlin Service Funeral Home on Sunday, December 7, 2025, with the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. and the service following at 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greater Huntsville Humane Society.
