Lillian Mae Eddy Marlow, 90, of Killen, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, at home, peacefully, with her family and friends by her side.
She was a member of Words of Truth Baptist Church of Anderson. She was known for her quilting talents and attended numerous quilting shows in the area.
Visitation will be Tuesday from noon–2 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel with her son, Jerry Marlow, and Jimmy Grisham officiating. Burial will be in Grassy Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Marlow, Anthony Wilson, Russell Hamlin, James “Red” Marlow, Jackson Marlow and Ethan Estes.
Mrs. Marlow was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Bertha Jackson Eddy, husband, Charles Marlow, sisters, Irene Camp and Lorene Robinson. She is survived by her children, Sandra Hamlin, of Rogersville, Jerry (Joyce) Marlow, of Lexington, and Charlotte (Lonnie) Wilson, of Florence; grandchildren, Pam (Kevin) House, Paula (Darrin) Estes, Tammy (Chris) Pettus, Wayne (Trisha) Marlow, Anthony (Brandy) Wilson, Russell (Tamie) Hamlin, James “Red” (Debbie) Marlow, Tina (Mandrea) Williams and Jennifer Marlow (Missy); 19 great-grandchildren with one expected in August; one great-great-grandson; host of nieces, nephews and friends; special loved one, Michelle Helms, and beloved dog, Freckles.
Memorial contributions may be made to Word of Truth Building Fund, Anderson, or to a charity of your choice .
Mrs. Marlow will be missed by all who knew her.
