Graveside service for Lillian Juanita Cox Williford, age 93, of Decatur, will be Sunday, August 15, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Midway Memorial Gardens, officiated by family and directed by Shelton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Williford, who died Thursday, August 12, 2021, in Dothan, was born March 12, 1928, in Rocky Mount, NC, to Clyde Allen Cox, Sr. and Lilly May Holland Cox. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, William Gaston Williford, and her daughter, Joy Elaine Williford. Juanita had served as a minister for the Salvation Army for almost 50 years when she retired in 1997.
She is survived by her son, David Williford of Dothan; grandson, William Justin Williford of Dothan; and granddaughter, Andrea Napper (Chris) of Dothan.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
