Lillian Geneva Davis age 94 of Athens, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Davis was born September 7, 1921 in Limestone County, AL to William Ezell and Elizabeth “Betty” McLemore Ezell.
Services will be Sunday, August 28, 2016 3:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Rick Davis, Keith Coward and Mike Davis officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Davis was a member of East Side Church of Christ. She was an employee of the Dietary Department of Athens Limestone Hospital for a number of years. A member of Athens Auxiliary Club of Athens Hospital and she traveled extensively.
Preceded in death by her husband, Lee C. Davis; three brothers and three sisters.
Survived by one daughter, Peggy Coward and husband, Mike of Huntsville, AL; four sons, Rick Davis and wife, Sherryn of Decatur, AL, Billy Davis, Mike Davis and wife, Denise both of Athens, AL and Tommy Davis and wife, Pat of Madison, AL; 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Reba Byram of Athens, AL.
Pallbearers will be Keith Coward, Brian Coward, Heath Davis, Will Davis, Brian Davis, Lance Davis, Chad Davis and Wes Coleman.
