Lila Pearl Lavender age 88 of Harvest, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Lavender was born June 1, 1930 in Macon, GA to Horace Ellis and Eva Ezell Ellis.
Services will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 12:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Patrick and Rev. Adam Rice officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Lavender was a member of Capshaw Baptist Church. She was very active in WMU and Senior Adult Ministry.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Vernon Lavender; two brothers, J.W. Ellis and Emory Ellis.
Survived by one daughter, Lisa Reed and husband, Jim of Harvest; one son, Monty Lavender of Chesapeake, VA; five grandchildren, Jennifer Carrillo, Eva Thompson, Jacob Reed, Kate Gordon and Matthew Hlavac; ten great-grandchildren, Casey Pfleger, Catelyn Pfleger, Lucas Carrillo, Lucy Thompson, Avery Gordon, Adler Gordon, Zane Gordon, Ailynn Hlavac, Collin Hlavac and Addison Hlavac; one sister, Louise Thomas of Macon, GA.
Pallbearers will be Jim Reed, David Thompson, Jacob Reed, Pete Grogan, Eston Green and Daniel Haire. Honorary pallbearers will be Dwayne Blake, John Augustus, John Morrison, Buford Wales, Gerry Flanagan, Tom Franks, Edsel Bissett and Tom Ramby.
