Mr. Lewis Wyman CarterMr. Lewis Wyman Carter, age 55, of Paint Rock Valley, Alabama passed away Friday, June 7, 2024 at his residence. Lewis loved life. He was a painter by trade but loved to help people fix things. He loved to ride around in his car.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Hardy Carter; daughter, Kelsy Carter; son, Joshua Carter (Chaselyn); mother, Charlotte Carter; Brothers and sisters, Joseph Keith Carter (Katie), Cheryl Dodson (Rodney), Gregory Carter, Kim Brock (Mike), Stephanie Carter, Christy Carter Ricco and Shannon Carter (Joy); grandchildren,Kobie, Easton and expected in August, Cash; Aunt, Kathy Lindsey and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Gerald Carter; brother, Scott Carter; uncle, Billy Lindsey; Grandparents, Vera and Dwain Lindsey and Annie and Wesley Carter.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Floyd Wilson and Rev. Scottie Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Latham Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home. The Pallbearers will be Josh Carter, Jessie Hardy, Shannon Carter, Jonathan Wilson, Rodney Dodson, Michael Brock and Jonathan “Roadie” Carter. Honorary Pallbearers will be Greg Carter, Randy Luttrell, Kenneth Carter, Gregory Paul Carter and Josh Moses.
