Lewis Markham Hewgley, age 87, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 20, 2023.
He was born in Pulaski, TN, June 29, 1935 and retired from the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Vera Phelps Hewgley, his brothers, Robert, Gilbert, Kenneth,
Farrell and Elbert Hewgley, his sisters, Lee Harwell, Faye McClain, Elise Hewgley and
Geneva Clements.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 24, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow in New Zion Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Sim Hewgley of Pulaski, his sons, James Hewgley of Pulaski and John
Hewgley of Minor Hill, his daughters, Kathy Robbins of Pulaski and Susan Hewgley of Pulaski, his
sister, Lucille Warren of Fayetteville, his grandchildren, Taylor, Rachel, Jay, Zane, Olivia, Graci, and Emma Hewgley, Kayla White, Caitlin Luna, and Charlee Brymer, and his great grandchildren, Kirsten, Matthew and Dawson Wiley.
