A Funeral service for Lewis Edward Thomason, Sr., 90, of Birmingham, will be Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Ashley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Lebanon Baptist Cemetery . No Visitation is scheduled.
Mr. Thomason died on Friday, June 16, 2017, in Atlanta, Georgia, with his family by his side. He was born February 4, 1927, in Morgan County to Felix Thomason and Lottie Summerford. He was born in Hartselle, Alabama in 1927 and was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy. Mr Thomason was retired from South Central Bell where he worked as a lineman. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Lewis Edward Thomason II, and his children’s mother: Ande’ Holbrook.
