Lewis Camper – Obituary

Funeral services for Mr. Lewis Camper, age 79, are scheduled for 4:00 pm Sunday at Pafford Scotts Hill Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sardis Cemetery. Mr. Camper passed away Friday in Jackson, Tn. He was born February 24, 1939 in Decatur Co. Tn. to the late Hade and Zada Deere Camper. He was retired self employed Trucker and a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Camper enjoyed Coon Hunting with friends and growing a garden. He was famous for his delicious watermelons. Mr. Camper was preceded in death by his parents and 2 daughters- Tina Camper and Amy Camper, 2 brothers- Wilbert Deere and Welton Camper; Survivors include his wife- Faye Camper of 58 years, 1 son- Jeff Camper (Teresa), 3 daughters- Tracy Inman (Jason), Dena Stowe (Bart) and Gena Britt, 2 sisters- Alice Faye Flowers and Louise Lomax, 7 grandchildren- Candice, Kashia, Madelyn, Sophie, Presley, Rainey, Hade, and West; and 3 great grandchildren- Lilliana, Brooks and Whit.
