Mr. Levon Thackerson, of Hytop, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, AL.
Visitation for Mr. Thackerson will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Scottsboro Funeral Home from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Funeral services for him will be on Sunday, February 9, 2025, beginning at 1:00 pm, at Hytop Holiness Church, with Bro. Ray Davis and Bro. Todd Davis, and Bro. Totchie McClain officiating. Burial to follow in Hytop Cemetery.
Mr. Thackerson retired from Lozier Corporation in Scottsboro, after over 40 years of service. He was also a member of the Hytop Free Holiness Church.
Mr. Thackerson is survived by his wife, Lisa Thackerson; daughters, Amanda Stephens (Jon), Ashley Patterson (Brad), Brandi Vann Brown (Larry); son; Jonathan Brewer; sister, Mary Cagle (Carl); grandchildren, Shayln Stephens, Bradyn Stephens, Blayze Stephens, Will Patterson and Hayden Young; and a host of other close family and friends.
Mr. Thackerson is preceded in death by his parents, N.A. and Edith Thackerson; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
