Levi Maclin, 84, passed away on October 31, 2015, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mr. Maclin was born June 17, 1931, in Limestone County to William and Lula Thompson Maclin, Sr. He was raised and attended public schools and Alabama A&M University in the Decatur/Huntsville community. Mr. Maclin proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 master sergeant.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 60 years, Emma; daughters, Barbara Tucker, Decatur, Patricia Smith (Wendell), Cleveland, Ohio, Valerea Maclin, Garland, Texas, Carol Jones (Michael), Audrey Maclin, Wichita Falls; and Shana Polk (Otis), Wichita Falls, Texas; brothers, William Jr., Chicago, Illinois, Freddie, Chicago, Charles Curtis (Frances), Birmingham, Alfonzia, Los Angeles, California; 50 grands, 66 great-grands, 16 great-great-grands; his favorite aunts Claudine Hines and Helen Raybon, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lula Maclin Sr.
Military burial was held on November 9, 2015 at Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK.
