He was the beloved son of the late Levie and Cora Dee Tidmore. He attended Crossville High School. On November 26,1954 he married the love of his life, Pat Cagle, with whom he shared a beautiful life of 71 years of love and ministry. Bro Lamar lived a life of dedication to farming, faith, family and prayer. His passion for people and faith shined brightly through Painter Liberty Baptist Church and Beth Haven Christian Academy and Church. There he touched and shaped lives of countless young people and children through the years.
He carried hundreds of young people to youth camps and basketball games. He was a great prayer warrior that prayed daily for family, church, school members, other churches and missionaries.
